The flow of this kitchen isn't good, and it's too vanilla plan for me. I really like contemporary/modern.

The floors are staying, travertine. Want to save cabinets(adding new handles and soft close), keeping appliances.

Here's some thoughts:

1. remove peninsula where sink is and use granite to make a floating counter.

2. Move dishwasher and add apron sink in front of window

3. remove existing small island add a larger island with flat front drawers in a contrasting or complimentary color. Making it a piece of furniture.

4. Move the ovens and their cabinets to the slot where microwave is.

5. next to cook top(right) add use granite from island to extend counter. The gas cook top is too close to cabinet for the ovens.

6. Microwave to right of the vent/hood or island?

7. New back splash? What would make this kitchen pop?

8.The counter is a back, grey, brown - not my favorite but hope to pop with grey, black or white. Maybe be more economical to replace granite.
