Are you quilting this weekend? March 10-12

Good morning quilters! I thought I had posted a weekend update but it's not here. We were busy Friday and Saturday with family. Everyone left last evening and the house is quiet again. I hope to get into my sewing room this afternoon. I am still working on my Winding Ways blocks and hope to finish them today.

I'm about to do some more hand piecing. Yesterday was spent doing errands and stuff.

DH & I were planning to clean the house yesterday, but I got home from work Friday to find he'd done it all himself! What a sweetie.

Mind blowing, Linda! Both the piecing, applique and the quilting. I stand in awe.

I made up four placemats earlier this week to test out machine sewn binding. Did it four different ways and I am not thrilled with any of them. Obviously I need a lot more practice. And my main machine is on its way to the shop. Tension, tension, tension. For the machine and for me!

After those were finished, I started another top and so far I have all 50 blocks done, now to join them. When this one is put together, I must sandwich and quilt the UFO s in the pile.

Linda, you tell Sue that she can find a home for her quilts at my house! I remember her at retreat and her beautiful applique. I so envy her talent. That quilt is beautiful, and the quilting is too. Good job to both of you.

Beautiful quilt. I'm quilting the elephant quilt. Got some done last night and will work more this afternoon, after I pick the meat off a chicken I just cooked in the pressure cooker. I'm out of bone broth and that's really what I want more than the chicken.

Linda, the quilt is beautiful! It looks very similar to my Provence and Beyond quilt - I wonder if it's the same designer.

I'm sorry to hear about the long arm business!

Beautiful quilt, Linda! I think I will send all of my quilts to you for quilting from now on!!!!!

No quilting here this weekend. We had dinner theater Friday night, hair appointment Saturday & dinner with friends, today church, then our DS & DIL and our beautiful granddaugher came for dinner. They wanted to run some errands after dinner and wondered if we could watch Charlotte. YES!!! They just went home and I miss that baby already. I get to babysit Thursday night, so I am looking forward to that.

I need to get busy on a Fox quilt for one of their friends and also get the Ribbon Row pattern figured out for my quilt group's row quilt we are making. Tomorrow ...
