They keep saying that the snow is gonna change to rain here right outside Boston but we have been at a steady 32 since noon.

I cleared the walkway at lunchtime, and when I went out to do it again just now, it had about 8" accumulated. So the 2"-3" per hour that were predicted in the afternoon for this area is happening, though I can't be sure that all of that fell from the sky rather than blew off the roof since the predicted winds are also happening.

We had some snow here in Nevada a couple of weeks ago. It was so deep that it had not all melted by noon. In shady areas it persisted until the following day.

I want one thing at this point, either for the snow to stop falling, or for the temperatures to rise and melt the snow that has obliterated my shoveled paths. Since neither option seems likely, I suppose I need to head back out with the shovel for a re-do.

I had about a foot of heavy wet snow. I think all my bulbs are up at one stage or another so it will be interesting to see how the fare

And apparently more snow on the way.
