Longan Kohala Blooming

My Longan Kohala has sent out its blooms a few weeks ago. Since planting it into the ground, it has grown to 8 ft tall, but it's very susceptible to white flies. As it gets bigger, it's hard to clean them, so I'm going to spray them with Neem oil again.



I have two Biew Kiews also planted in ground. One of them here is flushing, but no blooms yet. It has a very funny habit. It has two very lengthy middle branches that flop over. Overall, a very floppy specimen. If I stretch out their middle branches, it's about 7 ft tall now.

This is my second Biew Kiew (about 5 ft tall). Something strange with this plant too. When I bought it last year, it came with lots of new tiny growth peeking out, but ever since then they just froze. I was waiting and waiting, but nothing happened until recently I thought it was way too long to just be so frozen. I rubbed off all those tiny growth buds and now new ones are popping up. I'm hoping for more new flushes, but not sure though if they will bring forth blooms this year.
