I'd love to put a backsplash in our kitchen, but our granite has so much veining that I am not sure what type to choose. It is an open floor plan so the kitchen is totally open to the living area. I am considering redoing our fireplace to have tile that looks like white brick facing go from floor to ceiling with a distressed wood mantle. Whatever we choose for the backsplash would need to either coordinate with that or at least not clash or seem out of place with that look. We are also looking to put in woodlook tile floor throughout the living area & kitchen so the floors will be changing as well. ANY recommended looks for the tile (or the fireplace/floors even) would be GREATLY appreciated!
