Need help with the fireplace.

I love the look of this fireplace and wanted to know if you could tell me the approx size for the fireplace. We are doing our backyard over, we live in NY and wanted to accomplish a similar look and scale. Can you please share details. Thank you. Denise

    Glad you like it Denise. The entire structrure is about 10' wide, lower wall is 18" high, upper wall is 60" high. This is a very compact yard - scale is very important as you pointed out. Good luck with your project!

      Thank you for your quick response, I just want to clarify, when you say upper wall is 60" high is that from the ledge (hearth) or 60 " from floor?

      We built a fireplace similar to this one, which we used for inspiration. We have three venting holes in the back so the propane can escape should there be an issue with the propane line. No flue is involved with our fireplace.

      Ours will be natural gas. My worry is more about any issues with carbon monoxide build up. My contractor feels that the opening is large enough that it won't be an issue.

      Susan, when you say the entire structure is 10 feet wide, that includes the walls on each side? So the fireplace portion is how wide (estimate)?
