My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What color is shiplap? Was it painted?

Is that a ducted vent above the stove? If so, what is the brand?

The range hood is the Best Cirrus Series CC34IQSB. Yes it is vented across the ceiling and outside.

The Shiplap is a style of panelling. In this kitchen it appears on the ends of the island and cabinetry, and is stained to match the island, and painted to match the cabinetry.

I am surprised the use of marble on the center island for cooking and with children? Is that true marble or a quartz product? Beautiful kitchen.

This is real marble. Everyone has different tolerances for etching, staining etc. and etching can be removed with re-honing if necessary.
