From what you dsescribe about your plant. Leaf loss/yellowing is from stress of shipping and change of environment. This is normal with bare root or even buying from box stores. Generally plants are stripped of leaves for shipping to reduce transpiration and stress on plant. If the plant was not being shipped a great distance could be why it was not stripped.

Either way, you have it planting in what sounds like a good mix. Just keep doing what you are, water when needed, keep warm and either give natural light or artificial for now.

It may go completely bare. Keep check on the feel of the caudex when given a light squeeze. This will give you an idea as to how it feels later on for any changes.

ditto. don't be stressed by the plants' stress. just keep an eye on. sometimes moving them to another room can cause leaves to drop. looks like a good soil less mix. happy growing ...

I agree with the comments already made. Give it time. It's a good group of very helpful folk here. Welcome aboard! Might even be good to let it be a little on the dry side briefly because when the plant is stressed, it won't be taking up and using as much water. Best to keep those roots safe until you see new, active growth.
