My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Wood type on fence

Hi, what type of wood and stain was used for this outdoor fence?

    This is just our two cents but the wood looks strikingly similar to Ipe.

    Ipe is a Brazilian hardwood that has 75 year lifespan and requires no sealing or staining. Essentially all that's applied is a UV inhibiting oil specifically designed for hardwoods and it helps preserve the color.

    Attach is a picture of a job where we supplied Ipe for fence and tiles. Looks similar to the fence in this picture.

      How does one prevent wood from warping on fence built like this one? Built one similar at prior home and wood warped. Looked fine from a distance. But up close appearance was less than ideal
