    The grass along the patio wall in the is Miscanthus sinensis 'Variegatus', known as Japanese Variegated Silver Grass. It is a popular variety of ornamental grass that needs room to grow! Another Miscanthus that we like is Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus'.
