About a month ago, my favorite (and closest) LQS announced that they were going out of business. I was really shocked, because they had just expanded and taken on new lines. Then the really bad news - I was in Hawaii when the going-out-of-business sale started. Well, it's still going on, and I'm heading home tomorrow. I guess you know where I will be this weekend. I won't go too crazy, but I could use some basic solids if there are still any left.

Sharon, you might remember visiting when you were in Minneapolis. The original owner died several years ago, and her shop was then run by her husband and their daughter. Now the dad wants to retire and the daughter is following her boyfriend to school out west. I suppose it's hard to find a buyer for a specialty shop like that, especially in a hurry. Blue Bamboo, I will miss you.
