Autumn Bookcase/Hutch with Autumn 4-Drawer Dresser

I'm about to purchase the Autumn Bookcase/Hutch from Houzz and the Autumn 4-Drawer Dresser from DaVinci but the dimensionsion for the dresser say that it's only 35" inches wide and the hutch is 35.5" inches wide. Your website suggests pairing the two, which I'd like to do but according to the dimensions, the top will be wider than the base. Please advise. Thanks. Rachel
