It's hard to believe it's the same space! Everything looks great, from the flooring choice to the light cabinets... The warm colored floors look great with the glass backsplash. The added seating at the extended countertop was a great idea.

Nice to know it's glass. We considered glass but we couldn't find light blue tinted glass. It was always too dark plus we'd probably scratch it. It looks nice and light here.

This is a lovely transformation! Like the others, I like your glass subway tile backsplash, and I like how you kept the foot print pretty much the same - lower costs that way! And I especially love how you made one end of the peninsula little shelves for display. Altogether a wonderful kitchen I would love to have myself.

Very, very pretty. Is it an optical illusion that the island runs up to and under the glass fronted cabinet? If it actually does, how do you access the cabinet? I most especially like that you did not use gigantic light fixtures over that counter. The clear glass works really well.

It looks so much better. The wood floor and aqua tiles add warmth to the white.
