Yes...some landscaping and a pathway would really help. I wouldn't add shutters to this house. For one thing, the right size shutters would look odd on the larger window.

I agree with some color on the door. Their are tons of choices due to the neutral color of the house and roof.

An open sided canvas awning would be more attractive than the metal canopy over the front door.

Definitely support a lot of klfische's ideas, but we'd agree that shutters may be a little much because your house is a bit stout and has a variety of window sizes. Our favorite go-to is some sort of natural inclusion, like a bird bath or a bench by some bushes, but landscaping is going to play a huge part in this. You've got some serious potential. A lot of curb appeal faux pas is to spend your money on repainting your door, when you should invest by replacing your door entirely. Stats say it gives you a $8K value increase on home worth.
