Master bedroom

Hi! I am working on updating my master bedroom. I would like to paint it a soft light blue and then put granite on my bathroom counter top that coordinates. I want colors that won't date quickly. I have plantation shutters and high ceilings. My cabinets in the bathroom are creme color. Carpet is light beige. Any suggestions?
