You can't really use a 23" wide mirror over this type of table.

If I had to, for this price of $495, I would adjust the finish on the mirror to work with the table.

Proportions are important. The horizontal length, if you are mounting it horizontally, should be between 2/3 to 3/4 of the table. Height depends on the table height, ceiling height, and what you plan to display on the table. But, in general, the mirror height should fall within the 2/3-3/4 guideline of the length. Meaning the overall composition, including the table, should be 2/3-3/4 of the ceiling height of the room. Unless it is an over height room.

I am planning to coordinate the finished from my chandelier and this piece which will be a mixed metal look. I use this so often to serve from and I have sev credenzas with lamps just looking maybe at tall candle stick so
I can remove them with ease.
