GE Profile

Hi. I did a kitchen remodel last year and bought a GE Profile induction and range. Now that it is a month or so out of warranty it has stopped working. The replacement part is $516 + labor!!!!! GE customer relations won't give me any discount on this "known issue". Trying to decide if I pay the $862 of parts and labor or buy an entirely new range/oven on the assumption that this won't be the end of the repairs. Any advice??
