I can't see the stained glass windows but I would think twice about removing them. The posts for the roof could stand some beefing up and perhaps a stone base at each one? Really could use some more photos to get a better feel for the place. Of course, new paint on the exterior would freshen things up a bit. To me, it doesn't look bad as it is, so not sure what is going to be accomplished here? What problems are there that you are trying to fix??

I agree with the beefing up the posts portion for sure. I've added a few more photos to maybe help you get a better feel for our property. We are located in Sacramento CA and sit directly behind a 7/11, which you can use your imagination on how bad that looks.

This is a great building, love the metal roof. Looks very much like a simple farmhouse to me. Agree with beefing up the posts. This picture shows some simple larger wood ones that could be done cost effectively. Can you add some kind of low wall around the sidewalk? Wouldn't want to add shrubs as shown here as that would require daily watering in a warm climate (and a place for people to throw trash) but a low wall (kind of mimic the wood steps you can get a peek of in this photo), low enough so kids won't fall off.

There is NO REASON to beef up the posts holding the overhang

I would superimpose a grid on the face of the base of the building to add texture and interest and paint the base pure white to contrast with the blue roof. (See image below to illustrate grid)

I would float the grid over the openings of the replaced windows.

Hard to make a recommendation about the windows without knowing where they are placed inside the building, but i agree they should go.

If you don't want to do the grid, I would at least consider adding battens to the face of the structure.
