Marble edge profile decision, ugh

Kitchen counter marble edge love ogee, but also a simple soft rounded edge. Have thought about ogee on the island and the soft rounded edge on the stove wall. My indecisiveness is holding up the install. Husband is so sweet he tells me I can't make a wrong decision to trust what I love, but I am decision exhausted. Any thoughts?

I'm probably not much help. Marble is a soft stone and my choice would be a soft rounded edge. I think it might be less prone to chipping over the long term than ogee, but I'm no expert.

I think a round edge is more practical. Think wipping crumbs off the counter.

I agree with the above. Also, ogee is just a bit fussier and you lose about an inch of counter depth.

Soft rounded edge everywhere. Unless your kitchen is SUPER DUPER classic, the soft rounded edge will work just fine. And it is a stronger edge which works much better with marble.

House was total renovation and is classic in a 1930s 40s west coast way. All bathrooms are also marble with ogee edge and I love them.

Ogee is a love or hate- I would stick with simple rounded :)

That definitely changes the scenario. Then ogee island, rounded edge everywhere else...

Color zen, thank you. My plan from the beginning was ogee island and soft rounded on remaining including the pantry, but having a bout of seconding guessing. So much time energy and money I hate to make a mistake at the end. Definitely feeling decision fatigue.

Update; counters were installed and I went with ogee for the island balance with a soft edge. This was my initial plan from day one and for us the right decision. Hard not to question each major choice though, thank you to all who commented
