I Would Say opening it up would be very awesome because you can have modern feel, but i would say this you should invite a contractor or architect to see if it is a structural or non-structural which would allow you to see what you can, then go forward and see the placement of cabinets and the kitchen

And Yes i think it is possible, and on the safe side you can put up a 2 x 12 beams to support the roof or the second floor and have two one for each wall you are knocking down

Once you get a builder...

if you are going to take down walls, take all of them down. Perfect style of home to do that….

Check the attic and the roof beams…if it is truss construction, all your walls can come down…again, so I won’t get in trouble, with a licensed builder.

I Do have Another Idea of Opening up the Dining room wall only and moving the fridge to the corner of the kitchen and dinning room wall, having the sink and dishwasher stay the same where they are and then have a wrap around kitchen if possible, and move the stove to the other side of the wall making it all open concept and more open space with counter tops room

Interesting idea. But between the stove and the fridge is a door opening to a large laundry room. I like your idea of moving the fridge to the other wall and maybe building a pantry where the fridge use to be? Thank-you for your ideas!
