I always plant mine outside at the stage where yours are. Since they've been forced to bloom, the success rate may be unpredictable. I've had rather good luck though. I'm in zone 4 so much different than where you are. Maybe someone closer to you will have more helpful information.

I have replanted mine in the garden and they have done really well.

I'm in zone 7a and they have come back at least for a second year. Four years later a few petered out, but it might more be because they just aren't the types that last long anyway.

I don't know where you are in GA (N Ga?), but there is some concern that in zone 8 you might not get the freeze needed for consistent blooms. Do you have neighbors or have had in your own yard tulips come back and bloom after the initial planting?

Either way, no harm planting them and seeing what happens!

Thanks y'all. I'm in NW Ga and we have been having warm winters. The last couple of years I've chilled new ones in my bottom drawer of fridge and planted in pots in Dec and they've done really well. This year I'm not sure what happened but after a horrible horrible hail storm that just destroyed them and they shriveled up. I was so frustrated and decided I really wanted to either store them to replant this fall or go ahead and replant now. I've had some that have came back for several years and thought i'd try to save these and wanted the best advice on care for them. I think I will replant now and pray they do ok. Thanks again, Judy

Sounds like you should have success with these bulbs. Sorry your other ones got hurt by the ice storm
