Nutrient issues or disease

I had some plants stay in solo cups way past their time, I wasn't planning on using the plants since I ran out of space. I was wondering if this was a nutrient issue or the start of disease?

you kind of answered your own question in your first sentence ;)
it's like that because it needs to be re-potted. 16 oz of soil with an over-sized plant can only hang on to nutrients for so long. if you've had a change of heart and found it a home, then transplant and after a week or so give it some fertilizer because it most definitely needs it.. it is severely root bound, but it can come back with some TLC.

Thanks, that's what I thought it was, a nutrient issue. Unfortunately, they didn't find a home. The good news, the ones that did, are doing very well.

I did however plant some that looked almost as bad, so now I'm waiting to see if they will rebound. I started way too many seeds with good intentions, but I just couldn't keep them all.
