Glass or ceramic subway tile for remodel??

I'm renovating the kitchen in my 1930 craftsman bungalow and need backsplash advice. I have enameled the shaker style cabinets in satin finish Benjamin Moore white dove, the granite is Juparana Bahama (very soft grays with elements of taupe and cream), stainless appliances are not in yet. Floors are hardwood, will be a fairly medium neutral stain. Wall paint is BM grey owl continued in from the living room, and it looks awesome. I am planning to use a pale gray subway tile and I can't decide whether to go with a glossy ceramic or a glass. 3x6" in either one. Both look great. Are there specific pros/cons to using ceramic vs glass? Is glass too contemporary for the antique house? Any advice would be appreciated!

Granite closeup, its super dirty but gives an idea of what I'm working with
