Should a concrete driveway cost me 27k?

We just finished our new home construction and wanted to start on the landscaping pretty quick. We met with 2 landscapers and decided to move forward with one on a landscape plan.

For this first phase, I asked if he could just provide us some pricing for our lot to be seeded and our driveway to be paved. I was shocked by his pricing — I had done some previous research on this, and was expecting to pay 7k-9k for a driveway and walkway. He quoted us 27k just for the driveway and walkway. See the attached description — does anyone else think this seems outlandish or was I being naive?

Without knowing dimensions - yes a stamped and colored concrete driveway can easily cost that much.

how many yards of concrete ? I don't see that anywhere listed. concrete is priced by the yard so that's universal, more or less. get another bid or two for the driveway.

I wish I had that information — he was supposed to give us a "landscaping plan" so then we could quote it out with various contractors, so that information would be needed. This is just one of the things he hasn't delivered on. Here's the drawing — not sure if it's helpful at all.

I would get some other estimates so you can determine how fair the price is.

We had gotten a similar quote, but of course, I can't tell if the size is similar!

Since garages are usually 18'x18' or 20'x20' and driveways are 12' or 15' wide It looks like u have 1600 to 2000 sqft of driveway it looks like ur walk is about 250 to 300 sqft add 300+2000 =2300 x$12 a sqft which is a super good price for stamped and colored concrete it can be up to$15. You have 27,600 his price is adequate and good at least for where I am in Los Angeles.
