I really like the idea of the cabinets on each side to balance it out. Thank you! I have added a few other photos of the other walls so that you can get a better idea of the room.

You have some great pieces but several different leg styles: queen anne, spindle, turned, peg.... that is creating some confusion. Have you tried the TV flat against the wall where the mirror is now? Or on the wall between the windows? I don't think it's working catty corner.

Thank you Jck910. I have collected the furniture over time and it does present a problem getting them to match up well sometimes.
I initially thought of putting the tv over the mantel but unfortunately all of the cable connection pieces are located in that corner. I think the former owners had the TV mounted on the wall right there.

Have you considered removing the fireplace and putting the TV where the mirror is. In a small living room, it's taking up your largest wall. Your sofa looks a bit squashed in the space between the windows.

Also, TV connections can be moved.

If it is in a place that is viewable and options are minimal due to the couch placement and room size. Being as the room you say is small...

I'd remove the chairs on either side of the small console table with the mirror adjacent to the TV and leave the decor to only the mirror if you want to keep that area. Mount the TV to the wall which they are on a swivel and purchase similar to what you have in scale of the table a TV console table, but centered.

This can hide all the wires and house your equipment for the TV. It doesn't have to be a large piece (again about the size of the table that exists yet centered) yet would have a partially open back to pass the wires through hiding all that. Mount the TV above ( not too high as many make the mistake) and it is all cleaner and cohesive. LOVE the chair and ottoman you have!

Simply an example here.... there are many lovely pieces found on Craigslist you and make holes in the back to pass wires and such to make it a TV console. NO LAMPS... it's only to give you an idea :)

• Put the FP between the windows
• Use the mirror and plate group above the mantel in a tighter grouping
• Move the clock to the kitchen
• Angle the French bergere and footstool where the TV is now
• Put the yellow chair where the clock and demi-lune are now
• Install new TV connections where the mirror, table and 2 white chairs are now
• Center the sofa on the wall where the FP is now
• Sell your 2 end tables on Craig's List
• Buy 2 new tables for the yellow chair and bergere (only as high as arm level)
• Hang the lighted art 5" above the sofa back
• Use the demi-lune, tea and parsons tables elsewhere
• Eliminate the white chairs
• Buy a legless credenza 25% wider than the TV for it to set on
• Use your lamps in bedrooms
• Try a floor lamp to one side of the sofa and another by the bergere
• If you can do without the ceiling fan, get a pretty new ceiling fixture and put it on a dimmer.

Move the sofa in front of the fireplace (it's not working anyway) and move TV on the opposite wall where the mirror and plates are hanging. Rotate things around A bit and leave only large mirror on the wall , get rid of small decorations it just clutters the room and makes it even more mismatched . You could replace couple of tables with one buffet style unit under the TV as suggested earlier .white chairs could go to another Room maybe bedroom.
