Need help for railing the curved stairs going to basement to meet the code

The curves of the stairs are wonderful, offering different views from different angles and want to make it a focal point of the basement. I removed the walls of the stairs well to bring more light in. Now I face the problem of meeting the 4" gap required by code.

PRO13 years agoFirst idea that comes to mind is glass or perspex; or you can add netting or even poles from top to bottom which is quite dramatic (in perspex it with LED lights would be stunning)
