Are these windows too high?

This is a new build and a friend has noticed( I did not) that these windows on the corner appear too high. We measured interior height is 53.5 from the floor to bottom of the windows.
This is a corner kitchen sink and the plan does say 42"? Does this look like it could be an error...I need to know be drywall begins if we should have them lowered TIA

Seems like the top of all windows are at the same height? Also why don't you make your kitchen window the same size as the rest?

If the plans are drawn for 42", why are they built at 52.5"? Did something change in the design? If not, this was a mistake.

standard height would see them at the same height as the doors unless they were a feature. My guess is the are a little high but why have they been changed?

If that is a kitchen corner, it will be important to make sure the height is consistent with your plans because you will have sink and countertops there and this could cause a big problem down the road. I would point this out with your builder ASAP. Easy fix now, although you will need to ensure a proper "redo" so there aren't "leaks" around these windows in the future. The "wrap" around the windows are key to avoiding leaks. There should be another layer as the work on the outside progresses. Almost 10" higher would not be good. Most countertops are 33" high so I think this is a problem.

Typo!! Countertops are 36 inches.( kitchen)

Opps, guess I should stop for tonight! Right 36". So that still leaves about 14-16" to the bottom of those windows. At that height, I couldn't see out the windows! lol
