So this is what I would suggest. I would not have a chaise lounge end to the sofa, it will block the fireplace. I'm showing. 66" sofa. From the arm of the sofa to the wall, you want to have 3 feet so you can walk around it. Suggest using painters tape and taping it out on the floor so you know size before your make a selection. Make sure accent chairs have lower backs so as not to block the tv. You may want to add a bench under the window.

So overwhelmed! I too have an 11x17 living room. It is the only living space on the main floor. The room has several openings. It’s the room the front door opens onto. I need a TV in there and there’s no true opposing wall to place it on. I guess my first question... are you using an app the develop the room layout? I’ve tried a couple and just can’t seem to get them to work?

I also have the same layout but one major thing is that I only have one main entrance to the living room. Makes it more of a struggle

Keep the tv at eye level to a person sitting on the sofa. Don’t put the tv over the fireplace....99% of the time it will be too high, especially in a small room.

Don’t place the sofa/sectional in front of the fireplace. It makes the room feel much smaller and places you too close to the television. You could put the sofa table against the back wall with the sofa right in front of it to make the room feel more spacious. Then you could add a chair to the right of the fireplace for a guest.

What would you do if the fireplace was the the end of the 17x11 room?

Would need to see where doorways and windows are. Can you sketch out a little plan and post it?
