Towels and easy to replace. Paint your walls what color you want and buy new towels if the ones you have don't go.

What about very light blue which is still fresh like light green (the picture is of tiles but it is just to give you an idea of the colour)? If you still want to add green, you can always use plants (there are quite some in the picture;)).

The room seems pretty dark so make sure you have bright whitish light. Another tip for bathroom lights is to use lamps on both sides of the mirror, which prevents shades in your face like lamps hung above the mirror would do.

If you want to paint the bathroom a light green then I would not use the sage towels. It just blends in too much and there is no pop with the accessories. I would use your tan towels or buy new towels that are a shade or two darker than your walls. One of my favorite colors for a bathroom is the Sherwin Williams color Sea Salt. Its a light color and makes it feel like a spa. Since your bathroom looks small and does not have a lot of light it wont feel as small and feel more open with this color.

ugh, no sea salt. find a color you actually like.

go to a paint shop and start collecting paint chips. then prime your wall, so you can try some samples on a neutral background. find something that makes your space happy! I went this direction for my kid and never regretted it! :)

I think it is interesting that most of y'all have suggested new/different towels. I wasn't considering that since my my towels are brand new and paint is way cheaper than replacing towels. :) I may try to work with the tan towels instead of sage.

The blue idea would be great except most of my rooms are blue with some browns mixed in so I purposefully am staying away from blues.

That Sea Salt looks way better on the wall in that link than the paint card at lowes! I actually kinda like that and may reconsider my opinion. I generally wanted soemthing a little more cheery though

wow that is a huge difference in sea salt and I like the greener one way better (the one that was in the link above). yeah, given the opportunity to do it again i would just buy plain white... or something to complement/contrast my intended wall color.

and the sea salt from BM is a lot grayer.

How about SW Rainwashed? But I'd do white towels, more "spa" like & they don't fade. That's what I always have in all 3 of my baths.

Yet another option; Recycled Glass may be a cheery color you mentioned you could like. Bonus is it's color-coordinated to Sea Salt, literally.

Here is a bathroom with white beadboard and sage..combined with white fixtures and wood. It looks great and I would use your tan towels to better compliment.

that looks really good maureen! that is exactly the look i'm going for. I decided to go with Pale Oak Grove by Valspar. It is very Sagey and also cheerful!

I just have to say I love your wood counter top! I was going to do it in my guest bathroom but ended up with quartz. Seeing yours, I wish I had gone with the wood!
