A lot of people paint their front doors a bright color to give the house a pop of color.

I like the idea of a slate blue. Did you have a color in mind?

Not sure if you are open to painting brick. This in my opinion would look fantastic. Keep your trim color the same and paint brick and door and whoo laa

if you do a blue, do a rich deep navy blue.

It would be helpful to have a zoomed in photo shot of brick to see the colors.

What a nice home! The brick and trim look good as they are. You won't like my suggestion but a high gloss black would look great with your brick. Add brass door knocker and handle!

Another possible choice for the door...BM Tarrytown Green.

She doesn't want red or white or black or green. I notice a lot of people suggested those colors. So, how about purple? Just pick what you like and it'll look fine. I think the red looks great.

If you like ocean swell, I'd try even more blue, like teal or navy. Like Mammoth Mountain, Deep Breath, Vintage Teal, Bali Bliss, Bermudan Blue. Or grey greens like Green Trellis/Green Balsam.

Sara thank you for the enlarged photo but I am trying to see other colors in the brick. Maybe a close up would be better of the brick. However matching the door color with the brick color can be achieved and depends on what you are drawn to.It is all personal taste but you do want to make sure it is complimentary to the exterior. Your home is lovely. I think your idea of the slate blue door is great. It will be cohesive with your roof colour which looks really nice with your brick.

Would you consider replacing the shrubs with the red foliage? I think their pinky red colour clashes with your brick. You could also add in some plantings with grey blue foliage that would also compliment your slate blue front door and roof colour.
