which wall is the walk-in closet on?

I made rough floor plan (not to scale) using good old MS Paint to give an idea of layout. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

You might consider some built-ins for behind the bed. Like a complete wall of 40"high cabinets that would go the whole width of the wall so they'd measure 24-30" deep and 11' long. Then that would push your bed forward and you'd have a shelf for lamps and you wouldn't need a headboard. You could also add a bench at the end of the bed. Are you planning on putting at TV in the bedroom?

You could maybe put your bed on the wall beside the closet but it might be awkward to walk around it to get to the closet. Would the bed fit between the windows? Ideally there should be several inches on each side but your headboard could overlap the windows some and still be workable.
