Lacantina doors , really this is answered by googling.

I did a lot of searching on Google and couldn't find a place in OC that specialized and had a showroom where I could see/touch these windows. Also, I was hoping to find someone here that might have had one installed and could help me with a recommendation.

Thank you, but I did reach out to you and your team. I received a quote of $5,000 for a 48 x 46 window (installation not included). That seemed a bit high compared to other pass thru options. I went a different route.

That sounds a bit high, yet 46" H opening is above standard 42"H opening. And you must be including freight & crating. I thought you were in OC, so that would not be accurate, as you could pick up from our shop in Laguna Niguel and save those charges. It is very easy to install. A handyman and a helper can easily do. It basically is just 6 screws.

Juan - I'm in Encinitas and looking for the same for our kitchen. Which route did you end up taking?

Christina - We had a handful of General Contractors over and we have yet to find a good solution at this point. We've placed this project on hold until we find a good solution.

These are not offered by La Cantina windows. To be so snooty and to be wrong is kind of funny. La Cantina can offer a bi-fold window or a pocketing window, but no gas strut or even awning operable items...FYI

While we settled for a standard window, later this year I believe we will change it out and go with FlipOut Windows. Their videos are really great - shows me they care - and I do like having the benefit of them being local.

Thank you Juan! We actually drove down to their showroom and placed an order with Gary last week. It looks wonderful and we are looking forward to it.

One thing I'd really like to see with this style of window is the struts extended to allow it to open a bit beyond the 90-degree mark removing the entire window from the view. Many of the windows in their current form don't give you that true panoramic look.

Be curious if this is something that @Flip Out Windows Inc has looked at for future products. I doubt it's a showstopper for those looking to open up their space, but it would be a nice way to continue to evolve the product.

Hello Again Juan, I believe you should just get in your car and drive up the coast and come to our showroom! Let us Flip You Out!!!! You can touch it, feel it and see how it works. I believe you will not be disappointed. It is a Stout window made of American grade Steel, has a beautiful powder coated finish as well as interior wood casing to finish it off.
