Cabinet update

From golden oak to chocolate brown cabinets, love the change and kitchen looks updated at very little cost to us.

Very nice! A lot of work, but worth the effort. So glad you moved the door pulls from the middle of the cabinet...it doesn't seem natural to open a cabinet like that...and well, it looked bad. So happy with your new choice and position of the door pulls.

@mjsilvas85 - we used Rustoleum Cabinet Transformation kit in Chocolate. 1 kit did the entire kitchen, ensuite and main bath cabinets.
@Gabberts Design - the kitchen took us 1 week from start to finish .

Thank you for the pictures and real-life experience. I am considering the Rustoleum kit for my rental house which I will be putting back on the market in August after I update the kitchen.

I used the rustoleum product too, in pure white. It has been 5 months and holding up well. 1 kit did my entire kitchen (30 fronts and stiles).

    BEAUTIFUL !

@ Designer Kitchen & Bath Studio - the back splash is the original basic white tile that was in when we bought the home 24 yrs. ago. The cabinet colour really made the tiles pop and everyone thought we put in a new backsplash :)

We will be adding stainless steel tiles behind the stove to finish it off.

Amazing transformation!! I'm planning on using the rustoleum cabinet dark transformation kit as well. Having a hard time picking laminate flooring with our furniture being darker but our caninets are yellow and oaky

Debbie, on the island, are those faux panels, or actual cabinet doors without any door hardware ? :)
    Very nice!
@ Ed - they are faux panels except for the panel closest to the wall which is a door without hardware.

What a great job! Will be doing my kitchen over soon and am seriously considering the rustoleum product since so many people have shown great results here on Houzz! Enjoy the new kitchen!
