I'd not want to have to walk through a bathroom (potentially in use or just used) to get to the closet.

@suzyandchris thank you for advice. I've been looking at walk-through closets and it seem's to utilize the most space efficiently like you said.

I've been thinking about your question and, although I still prefer option 1, suggest a modification. Consider the value of a longer vanity. Your sink could be at one end but the added counter space will come in handy! Maybe put toilet immediately to the right as you enter and keep the sink where it is now opposite the door but extending the counter to the wall. If you are planning to use glass along the shower, you could continue the visual line of the counter into the shower forming a shallow shelf to hold shampoo etc.

I have proposal 3 in my home, don't do it. If someone is in the bathroom, you have to wait till it's free to access the closet. Having a closet between bathroom and bedroom has the added bonus of noise buffer. If someone has to get up early to get ready for work (shower etc), you won't hear it as much with a closet in between.

We want to swap the sink and toilet. With the sink being the middle. Do you have a example of a extended counter line ? Thanks

Imagine (the last photo) the cushion as the counter with sink and the seat in the shower is the counter height narrow shelf/niche.
