Red flag. You are dealing with import garbage cabinets. Move up the food chain. Even the lowest priced domestically produced cabinets have multiple colors per door style.

i'm good with different on an island but i feel those two dont go well together. i think if the white were the busier style, and the grey the plainer one, they would do better.

i'm sorry you are being put into a position where you are paying (even a part) and not having a say in the source of the cabinets. : ( make sure you are really good with every aspect of the situation, its your money too, and your kitchen.

Think about switching the counters for the island and the perimeter. Dark for the island and light for others.

agree with leelee on that. a darker center, bright work surfaces around the edges is what i have too and like it very much.

The door style are too dissimilar to use together in my opinion. I would use only the white door and select two different countertops.
