Hicks is generally upright, columnar in nature, so upward growing branch tips would indicate it's properly labelled.

Few are the yews that can be positively id'd when sheared...for all of the commentary that drive people to think dirr is opinionated, he got that one right.

The one on the left is probably supposed to be 'Densiformis'. If you look at pictures and descriptions of that one you can decide if it seems to fit.

Densesiformis doesn't get much taller that 4' correct? And 6' wide?
