I see what you are saying about your kitchen. There are dilemmas like this every week so you are not alone. The backsplash is not my favorite, but it does have some blues and greens in it as it loos on my monitor. Changing your wall color to a very light barely there gray or a light greige or even something blue or green would be less drastic than changing the backsplash.

The white cabinets are neutral, they can go with warm or cool tones. I am sensing you like warm better. Is the flooring in yet? If you can do a warm wood tone floor or warm tile with a warmer or much lighter paint color, it might all come together.

Honestly, I don't think it is that bad......I would live with it a while before ripping it out and replacing. Sure, the backsplash isn't an ideal pairing , but it still looks nice imo, and it may not bother you once you are living there. If you hate it, by all means get something you like. But I would be inclined to put your energy into other things for now, like getting settled, decorating, landscaping, etc. And then redo the backsplash in about 5 years, when you are itching for a project and/or a change. That is what I would do, anyway. ;-)

I thought it was the new thing to mix cool & warm. I see it everywhere this year. I would keep it & see if it grows on you. What floor is in there?
