looks like sun burn ... or fertilizer burn ....

could it have been indoors all winter.. and you took it out into full sun??

or did that after repotting.. before the plant settled in ...

you have to tell us.. what changed.. to define what the stress is ... or was ...

btw .. this happened weeks ago ... note the new growth looks just fine ...

It's been indoors, in a 4-inch cup under an LED lamp until recently, and it has never been fertilized. This problem has started while it was indoors though (on 2 leaves), and has spread to the third leaf after replanting.

I don't think there was any change in the environment at all around the time the problem started.

The only thing I can think of - it could have outgrown the cup. When replanting, I've noticed that the tap root has already made a circle or two around the bottom of the cup.

Btw, the upper leaves (ones that are still green) were already present when this started, they were just smaller. That's why I'm worried that this thing may spread on them, too.

Hey Lucia, this thing spread to the top of the plant, then it stopped growing and died off soon.

I have two small plants that started to lose their leaves, I’ve repotted them and moved them from a west facing to a south facing window. I honestly don’t know what else to do. How long did this thing take to spread to the whole plant?

I don't remember well, but it was pretty slow. Maybe a month or two.

Hey tapok, I just wanted to post an update on the cherimoyas. After a lot of trial and error, I moved them to an east facing window and improvised a green house with a couple of plastic bottles and the cherimoyas have revived! They are now growing new leaves with richer color. I thought that -if you decide to germinate cherimoyas again- you could try this.
