My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I Got Ribbons!

I entered 7 quilt projects into the local county fair and I got 4 blue ribbons, 2 red ribbons, and one white one! (I didn't even know that they were going to be judging these.) I submitted different types of items for variety, one very small one, a bookmarker, one pillow sham, two wall hangings - one small and one medium - and 3 regular sized quilts. The LQS offered to gather up quilts and do all the work tagging and displaying them, I thought that was very nice of them to go to all that trouble. The powers-that-be at the fair grounds were trying to drum up more interest and participation in that area and I think they did get a lot more than usual due to the LQS staff's generosity. I guess it's a good thing I was clueless about the judging since if I had known, I probably wouldn't have submitted them, I'm such a coward. LOL!

    I'll go by small to large.

    And I need to find out, I thought white was 3rd place but it might just be Honorable Mention, I didn't think to ask.
