Is the first vanity offered in a gray wash, gray paint, or white? I like the style of that vanity much more. I am afraid that the 4 drawer configuration will make your drawers too shallow to store things like towels/shampoo/etc.

White washed oak will go out of style eventually; everything does at some point. Is this your forever home or something you plan to sell in 5yrs or less? You have to ask yourself whether you're going to want to clean the white floor frequently so it doesn't look dingy. The first vanity is more functional in the bathroom unless you have many little/short items to store. But if you aren't worried about storage the second vanity could go with more styles/ tastes.

I love the second vanity! That would be my choice, but it depends upon each person's style. My favorite style is Old World/French Country Cottage, but others do not like that style. Whether or not something goes out of style depends upon your individual taste OR whether or not you are selling your home in the very near future.

I try to avoid cupboards under vanities and much prefer the Ikea style with all drawers for really useable storage .
