Those will be painted the creamy mushroom. No paint has been added 5?3 white surface behind the glasses isn't true white and will be the same as the wall color

Brick painted, idk, up to you. Adds a variation just like flooring has a bit too...so I'd leave it. But the wood, maybe a paint from dartboard's colors - red is good with mushroom, if muted a bit... you think? You could post more photos for us to see...

Or -- to cover up equipment wires -- what about the same panelling as behind dartboard [if you have it], as a sort of beadboard on lower wall? But 'boxed' whatever depth covers wires....then don't paint / it'll repeat bar top [?].

Would you paint brick to match wall?

Not sure it matters since it's so close. Several functions in that area. Wild idea, but if you love silvery and s.steel: cladding over brick with corrugated metal panels.... brick's ok.... does it tie in with any more elements in the house?

there is brick on the front steps (porch area) and a full stonewall terraced in back and a stone oven I'll post most picture of the basement now

The main purpose of the basement is mostly play room:family room

As much -- I should ask: do you like the way the brick is used? I'm not trying to convince you to cover it, but it's just an option....semi-permanent, not permanent.

Children play? do the bricks seem a bump problem - scrape and break? hope not...

No they don't seem to be bothered by them usually there are items in front of the brick bc we have so much stuff

In a way, if you can buy them now, install them before they're discontinued... etc.

We didn't do the second room bc we did it ourselves and it took forever and was costly probably will move to tile the other side but my kids need their play room back . I'm ok with the break in continuity right this second . The kitchen I really want.

Oop $1.98 a square foot....it might look awful, but if you have remnant cuts [from the floor job] would it look good within the brick's layout [in the crevice part]...an idea is all!

I love your shiplap walls. I would go with a very light neutral. Space looks good. We recently renovated out basement area too and used Pratt and Lambert "Lambswool". www.happyhautehome.com
