Hi ~ How do you solve the drainage issues when placing a planter box directly onto a hard surface?

The planters are not on concrete.

Most planter boxes are sealed on the inside, to prevent leakage. This way, they're ready for planting direct into the boxes. The surface below is not really relevant.
