Both are luxury styles and will have little difference value-wise between them. I wouldn't worry at all about resale unless you plan to sell the home within five years. You should do what works for YOUR lifestyle.

Maximum storage would get my vote. I know some people love and actually use vanities, but I see them as a waste of space. Either bathroom inspiration would be beautiful and appealing, though. I don't think either one would make or break a sale, so pick what you like.

Just to be clear, I am putting the house on the market for sale in 3-6 months. I won't be living with the decision, I want it sell fast. :)

A remodel of that level for sale is a sure fired money loser. You will not recoup what you spend. Clean it, paint it, and move on.

Ah, ok. If you are selling that soon, does the current bathroom NEED to be remodeled?

Remodeling for resale is rarely money well spent. If a remodel is absolutely needed for some reason, have it done is the least costly way.

Photos of what you HAVE will help us determine whether or not you NEED an update for "fast sale". The inspiration photos could be in the $60K - $100K range. Of that, it might "add" $20K - $50K to your asking price...the rest is lost.

Photos of what you have will start this discussion properly.

I agree, If we can see photos we will all be happy to chip in on if a remodel or

esthetic improvements are all that are needed.

They're both lovely but I agree with the comments regarding the down side of spending a lot of $$$ for resale. Yes...it's often money lost, AND buyers are likely to change much of what you do.

I appreciate all the financial concerns! Sorry that I did not anticipate how specific y'all would want to be! The inspirations photos I posted are truly just that - I do not intend to go that high end! The space has to be remodeled (some damage repair, etc). I really just wanted an opinion on importance of vanity vs storage. If you were a buyer, which would "speak to you" more. Thanks again!

I'll bet most people don't end up using those vanities. More storage for me please!

I like both but storage is nice.

I personally love them both. I look for outlet placement and were can I put all my STUFF. What I love is how clean and fresh your bathroom is!!!!!
