Small Side walkway

I have a small walkway between garage and house. The side on the left is part shade and I have blue angel hostas. The side on the right is also blue angel Hostas that are sun scorched. I didn't realize the amount of sun on the right! Will it be odd to have different plants on each side along a small walkway? How do I make it cohesive?
