Looks great Kirstin! Funny, I'm about 35 miles west of Chicago and my home went from yellow to charcoal a few years ago. I like the gray so much better, shows off the plantings better.

Looks great! Glad they didn't damage any plants.

Very attractive, Kirstin.

I really like the sound of those painters. We're just about to have some trellising done off the back deck and am a bit concerned about some of the perennials.

Sherrygirl I am in Palatine, about 20 miles NW of the city. Seen a few houses pop up recently with this darker siding. I think it's a nice trend.

does the lawn walkway ... turn when it nears the house???

it is so nice to see the whole design.. that you avoided jamming everything right onto the foundation ... and moved out into an otherwise useless front lawn ... it all give a real depth to the vision ..

i like the house color too ...

in some other post ... did you mention trellises along the garage wall.. i would like to see that.. when they are filled ..

offer to write a letter of recommendation for the painters.. in case they run across other gardeners who have the same challenges ... had he had such to present to you.. it would have saved a lot of worry ..
