They need quite a bit of heat to produce fruits. Will your climate provide that?

Mandarins, peaches, and grapes all grow well here. Citrus struggles with the winter here, bit of snow in a frost pocket at my inground site. May - sept, like a jungle sometimes. Wife's friend has an olive in front of their house (microclimate) that produces a lot of fruit.

I think mainly I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble processing the olives. I've heard they need to be processed for months and it's difficult before they can be eaten?

Thanks backyard, I don't think I'll bother, between birds netting long process time, and in the end I've got pickled fruit. I can already buy pickled fruit. Now fresh that's another matter
