These are inside the bags and plastic boxes of Persil Power (Pro) caps sold in the USA as well. I do not know if they are to keep the bag scented, since the caps are obviously well sealed, or to just let the consumer know what the scent of the pods are.

I have found up to two in each bag.

If you like the scent well enough couldn't you place a card in the linen closet or a drawer to keep things smelling fresh? Just a thought.

I thought they were to enhance the scent because of extreme temperature changes in warehouses which can cause detergent to lose its scent.

What I find interesting are the symbols on it...don't put it in the washer, don't let children at it, but do smell it!?!

DH thought it might be a desiccant too as the pods would be affected by humidity.

When I called the company to inquire the appropriate use of the "perfume card.," I was told they are supposed to be outside the bag on the store shelf so you can sniff and see if you like the fragrance. When I said it was INSIDE the bag (and I didn't discover it until bag was nearly empty) and I don't think the store would take kindly to my opening the bag before purchase, he said "you are right,' but could not offer another theory on the usage. In short, they don't have a clue! I suggested perhaps they put some kind of notice on the bag that can provide the customer some guidance.

i Think it would be great if you can purchase them for use with say, my Stanley steamer. It has a punch to add a scent card! It comes with a sample. That’s what I’m using mine for!

There is no scent to the perfume cards that are in the Persil ProClean Discs box. I have no clue for their purpose. I tried to call the company, and they hung up on me twice, with no voice. Not good customer service. Since the card shows a nose with fumes, I am assuming that is the purpose, perhaps for your drawers, but again, they have no smell.

I agree, use on hanger to scent closet. If the Persil scent fades, just spray with your favorite scent.
