Looks like scale damage but it looks like they ran away. Now there may be some oportunistic fungal black spots. What was that white thing on pic 2? Looks like it could be scale but the pic is too tiny on this tablet.

The white spot was sort of like cotton. Not sure what it is.

Some scale can looks white/grayish but I can't tell w/this tablet for sure. It could also be mealy bugs (those can be picked up and thrown in the trash if you want).

I would do that regardless of what it is (i.e., pick it up and throw it away); then monitor to see if you see "more". ;o)

I agree with Luis- pick off the yucky leaves and throw them away (don't compost), and keep an eye out to see if you still have a problem.

If you see these bugs on any of your plants, feel free to squash them like the bugs they are; they are not beneficials. On the other hand, they are not likely to cause enough damage to warrant chemical intervention.

Your camellia is already putting out nice new leaves, and should replace the yucky leaves when you pick them off. The real problem could just be that they are senescent (old) leaves that for some reason haven't yet fallen off by themselves...
