Good luck, as the last four peonies I ordered from Gilbert Wild didn't even turn out to be the color ordered. It's a crap shoot! And customer service was the rudest I've ever encountered. I'll never order from these shysters again. They know they are sending out lots of cultivars not true to name.

Mantis, I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. I reached out to them a few times this winter with questions and had really good customer service. I hope I do not receive the wrong peonies, that would be very frustrating. I guess we will see. I think most of mine were around $8-10 which is a price I cannot find locally even for the very common peonies so I will find homes for them in my garden, even if they aren't the ones I picked. :) Henry Bockstoce and Coral Sunset are the two I was really looking forward to. The other two were just pretty ones I added to make the shipping worth it.

I, too, have had an unpleasant experience with their customer service- EXTREMELY rude and condescending. However, like Michaela, the clearance price was too good to pass up. We will see if they are the right cultivars..,

Wow - that's terrible. I am surprised. Maybe they have had a recent turnover of staff and that's why I didn't experience that. I sure hope that's the case. I guess we will see if things have changed.
