I need some advice on what to put in this long flower bed in the front of my house! I love the bed with all of the hostas on the left and I usually put bright colored impatiently or vincas near the edge of that bed and it looks very lush and pretty! I would love to carry that same feel over to the long bed but I'm lost and overwhelmed! The long bed has a rock border that sits about 6-8 inches taller than the dirt and mulch and it is almost full shade, only gets about 3 hours of morning sun. Currently I have a random assortment of perennials in the bed that were here when we bought the house these include ornamental grass (doesn't grow well in location), hyacinths, peonies, some sort of succulent, lilies, and a few other unknown flowering plants. I am definitely interested in transplanting those somewhere else in my yard and what ever I do replace it with i'd prefer it to be a perennial. I'm open to small bushes, shrubs, plants and flowers. I would greatly appreciate any advice, direction or suggestions for this bed or curb appeal in general!!' Thank you!!!
